LSE, Centre Building
Portsmouth, UK
The Royal Naval Museum, in Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, is one of Britain’s oldest maritime museums. The refurbishment will enable a 400% increase in the space available for exhibitions on the Navy and its people since 1900.
The Grade I listed building, dating back to 1776, is considered to be one of the most important surviving ranges of dockyard architecture in the country.
The project will restore and renovate the ground floor building to provide a high quality exhibition and displays which tell the story of the Royal Navy in the 20th and 21st Centuries.
