Welcome to The chapmanbdsp Sustainability Charter Report, which details our progress against 12 pledges we made last year to protect people, nature and planet.
On Earth Day 2021, we announced our ambition to be a net zero business in the UK by 2025 and committed to achieving this through science-based targets and aligning our work with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
This report details our progress and sets us new, tougher, commitments for the year ahead.
Our Sustainability Charter aligns with our core values and sits alongside our ISO14001 and social value objectives.
Commenting on the report, Susan Hone-Brookes, Director of Sustainability at chapmanbdsp, said: "The recent International Panel for Climate Change (IPCC) report demands urgent action to counter this, saying ‘it’s now or never’ to save our planet and warning we have less than three years to reverse greenhouse gas emissions.
This report celebrates the success of our work, together with communicating our ongoing sustainability journey.
A key point made in the report is that cities and urban areas produce 70 per cent of the world’s greenhouse gases, which makes our work and the legacy we leave with our clients, so very important.
That is why we are delighted to be publishing this report and continuing our journey to becoming a net zero business."
