Ray McManus appointed to chapmanbdsp Board of Directors
We are delighted to announce that Ray McManus has been appointed to the Board of Directors at chapmanbdsp.
Ray joined the company in 2006 - when it employed 65 people and had a turnover of £5m - and has played an integral role in ensuring chapmanbdsp has achieved steady financial growth as it has expanded into different sectors and regions.
Today, the company has a turnover in excess of £20m and delivers world-class, sustainable projects in over 30 countries through 200 staff in five offices in the UK and the Middle East.
In his new role, Ray will continue to work closely with Board Directors and Operations Board and will also be responsible for leading the integration of a new finance and management system into the business.
Chief Executive, Ray Upjohn, said: ‘We are delighted Ray has joined the Board, his dedication and drive through the good and challenging times ensures we continue to push forward. This is well deserved and myself and the rest of the board look forward to working with Ray to achieve our business goals and objectives.’
Ray McManus added: ‘It has been a thoroughly rewarding journey to date. From a financial perspective, I have experienced much more than I could have ever anticipated when I first joined the team back in 2006.
‘From navigating external market fluctuations through to the steady growth that we see today, a merger which allowed us to further develop our presence and offering in the market and the evolution of our internal business systems which enter their latest phase of development in the coming months. Along the way, the business has remained a fun place to be and I am especially proud of how we attract, develop and retain talent.
‘I would like to personally state my thanks to Ray Upjohn and the Board for their continued support and guidance over the years and I am very much looking forward to helping the business continue to thrive in the future.’
