chapmanbdsp shortlisted for two Education Estates Awards
We are delighted to have been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Education Estates Awards.
As well as being named as a finalist in the Consultancy of the Year category, we have also been shortlisted in the University Project of the Year category for The Marshall Building at the London School of Economics (LSE).
The consultancy of the year recognition comes after an amazing 12 months for our education team. As well as expanding our footprint in the schools and colleges sector, we also provided MEP and environmental services for The Town House, Kingston University.
The project won the UK’s most coveted architectural award, the RIBA Stirling Prize, and was later awarded the Mies van der Rohe Award, Europe's premier architectural prize.
The Marshall Building is our third project with the LSE and, along with The Town House, was designed by Grafton Architects. We provided MEP, environmental, lighting and BREEAM consultancy services for the project, which achieved a BREEAM Excellent certification in design.
The awards winners will be announced at an industry event in October.
